The Dog Whisperer

In 1999, I had many one-on-one training sessions with Cesar Millan often bringing my clients dogs to Cesar's Dog Psychology Center or Cesar and I would go to my client's home. I am very grateful to Cesar Millan and all that he has taught me. I have been training dogs for 25 years. (I am not affiliated with Cesar Millan, Inc., Dog Psychology Center or the TV show, The Dog Whisperer on National Geographic.)
A dog that is truly dominant will instinctually seek to control its territory and everything in it including you, the pet owner. A dominant dog will take charge of you and your home any chance it gets in these four areas: When and where it eats, sleeps, plays, and is touched.
When your dog attempts to control in these areas, it indicates he is trying to be his own boss and needs dog training. Fearul dogs are often afraid of people, children, loud noises, being left alone and other animals. They are generally insecure. I specialize in the removal of fearful behavior in dogs. The idea is to get the dog through the fear. Touching or using voice, when the dog is fearful, only reinforces the dog's fear.
